Shirley and Horses

Shirley loved all animals but horses were special. We would drive for hours around Ottawa looking for horses. Once we found some, Shirley had no qualms about walking around farms looking for the owners so that she could photograph and get closer to the horses. This particular farm was an hour north of Ottawa in Quebec and the horses were particularly friendly around humans. It was spring and there were a number of foals.
